ldm did not let me login
i used wireshark to see what was happening and i guess it was trying
to authenticate the user with ssh and i could not successed :-(

i changed SCREEN_07=xdmcp in lts.conf and i got my old KDM
as set by /etc/sysconfig/desktop

now, it works fine :-)

kde 4.1 (kdm)
