Hello,
I am testing a setup with real thin clients. Things seem to work ok except for the use of f-spot from the thin clients.
f-spot works fine on the server as do gimp and gthumb or openoffice from the clients. Only f-spot fails to start with the
following message:
[lars at test ~]$ f-spot
Initializing Mono.Addins
Starting new FSpot server
Query: SELECT photos.id, photos.time, photos.uri, photos.description, photos.rol
l_id, photos.default_version_id, photos.rating FROM photos WHERE photos.id NOT
IN (SELECT photo_id FROM photo_tags WHERE tag_id = 2) ORDER BY photos.time
Query: SELECT photos.id, photos.time, photos.uri, photos.description, photos.rol
l_id, photos.default_version_id, photos.rating FROM photos WHERE photos.id NOT
IN (SELECT photo_id FROM photo_tags WHERE tag_id = 2) ORDER BY photos.time
The program 'f-spot' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
(Details: serial 396 error_code 1 request_code 143 minor_code 1)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
[lars at test ~]$
Can you reproduce the problem in your environments?
Do the error code mean something to you?
Any ideas?
Any help is appreciated.
