Re: [K12OSN] Please comment on this hardware

What's the maximum resolution/color depth for these things? Also, does someone make a teeny box to put them in?

As a terminal, the 500MHz (Eden) version works fine. It is slightly cheaper

I believe there are a couple other people on this list using the mini-itx
boards as well.

Regarding powers supplies, you will need a big one if you plan to have only
one: 6 x 50 = 300 for the WS + 350 (400?) for the server = 650W .
Alternately and probably cheaper you could just use two supplies, one for the
WS and one for the server.

Greetings, please comment on this hardware,
The VIA EPIA Mini-ITX mainboard with 800mhz
This board has onboard video, LAN and audio...
CPU: 800mhz VIA C3 E-series (socket 370)
$118 US
These boards are 170mm x 170mm, nice.
Cheap terminal gear.
Any experience ? I would like to build a portable say 6 workstation box
all contained in on box. Just add monitors keyboards and mice and an
internet connection. The K12LTSP server would also be in this box but does
not count as a workstation. Small switch inside. Entirely self contained.
Please comment on wireless mice and keyboards also...Can you get 10
keyboard/mice to work on seperate channels ?
Thanks for the time,
