Me was a pathetic excuse for an update.  It was 98SE with some extra
things packed in and NO REAL mode option. I never used it.  There were a
host of issues with it, but that's starting to get off topic.

Too true.

I forgot about Me. It was a non event here. MS changes their OS name
almost as often as I change  my socks.
