RE: [K12OSN] Squid error

Tried that. It now generates the following error when I run 'service squid
status':
Squid stopped
squid: ERROR: No running copy

When I try to start the service is starts for a few seconds then the status
says:
squid dead but subsys locked.
squid: ERROR: No running copy

Any other ideas?

Aaron

Try removing the pid file: /var/run/squid.pid
