RE: [K12OSN] demo an LTSP server on a windows box, without doing a server install ? YES!

I'd be lying if I said I hooked any terminal up to it yet because I haven't.
The latest release does have the terminal server parts. It's under the
'knoppix' menu choice in kde. I started everything up and tried using
cygwin from my win 2k workstation to connect to it, but just got the good
old gray x-windows screen, aka no display manager.

I tried booting just from a disk and didn't seem to get any dhcp reply. It
says it's for PXE bootable cards which mine is not.

Hmmmm

I loaded it on the laptop here and to my shock and utter amazement my
buffalo wireless card works, sound works, and the 3com regular network card
works. How cool is that? (dell inspiron 5000 laptop)
