RE: [K12OSN] password protecting browser use?

We're using squid as a proxy server on linux to support windows (w95/98/XP
Pro) workstations accessing the Internet. We've installed the smb_auth
authenticate_program module to validate id's and passwords against the
domain PDC (which is our case is samba). There's pretty good doc at
www.squid-cache.org.

Subject: [K12OSN] password protecting browser use?

Does someone know how to make it necessary for windows workstation users to
authenticate in order to use their Web browsers? The gateway is Linux of
course.

TIA,

David
