[K12OSN] My K12LTSP server quit accepting GUI logins.

Hi,

I'm new to Linux so am not sure where to turn to get
some help. I hope this is the right place.

I have K12LTSP installed on a Dell P3-1.13GHz with 1
GIG of RAM and on one 9gig Hard drive. I have 2.1.0
installed with RedHat's updates as of Dec 30.

I don't know what caused the problems but yesterday
the server quit letting me login from any account when
I use the graphical login screen. I did a shutdown -r
now at the server and now it does not bring up the GUI
login screen. I can login at the the console prompt.
When I tail -f /var/log/messages when attempting to
login from a terminal it shows a line with the date,
time, servername, "kde(pam_unix)[2606]: session opened
for user dan by (uid=0)" and then within one second it
says "session closed for user dan".

Looking higher in the log I see that some of the last
lines after bootup say things like this:

==========screen capture of messages=============
Jan  1 22:53:13 k12ltsp modprobe: modprobe: Can't
locate module char-major-10-134

===============end of screen capture==================

Do you have any suggestions or should I just go
download K12LTSP 3.0 since I see it is out now and
start over?

TIA for your help.
