RE: [K12OSN] RedHat 8.0 and SMP Freeze...multiple systems verified.

Tell me about it. After a few installation headaches, we went to redhat
8 on 2 more of our servers over the break. I don't think we'll regret
it. While I'm in a talking mood =)...I really wish we would get some
sort of backup in place here. The district has no kind of backup system.
We're not a huge district but no place is too small not to have backups.
Anyone have any preferences for backup solutions? Including perhaps
backup "servers" with big ide drives? That's what I'm leaning towards.
Maybe using rsync? I think I could scare the administration with the
cold hard truth about no backups =) and get some money turned loose.

The box said "Requires Windows 95 or better." So I installed LINUX.

I know what you mean, except that my box was extremely slow on single
cpu kernel...

It is just good to find out that redhat 8.0 was a little more solid than
I had thought...
