Hi,

that looks like the problem with my onboard SiS-VGA. The solution
was

 USE_XFS = y

and the correct mouse device

 X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/ttyS0"

perhaps this works (for me it does ;-):

 X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/ttyS00"

Don´t ask why, just try.
