RE: [K12OSN] Server Unable to access SWAP space

I believe your server is terribly overloaded. I wouldn't doubt that your
swap file is getting full. You at least need some more Ram. 35 users
with one gig is really stretching it not to mention when you add star
office, kde, and netscape. I know that's not the answer you wanted to
hear!

Subject: [K12OSN] Server Unable to access SWAP space

I have a server with 1GB of RAM with 35 users connected, It was working
fine with
Star-office5.2 , KDE and Netscape ,
The application were accessing Swap memory regularly.
All of a sudden , it gave me Kernel error , after that the Swap area on
the hard-disk is not accessible and when the linux try to get into SWAP
area , the Server Hangs.

What could be the problem,
How can i activate the SWAP area again.

I am attaching the log message when the Linux Hangs.

Please do the needful as this server is my live production server,

Regards
Dinesh

The error message is as follows.
