Dunno about v3.1.1, but v3.0.x works quite nicely with 32MB DRAM, both on x86 and Power Mac. Since RHL 9 is basically RHL 8 with a few more bells, whistles, and bug fixes, I would think that the requirements would be similar to v3.1.x as for v3.0.x. I've heard of (but not tried myself) some folks on the list getting clients running w/ 16MB DRAM on x86, and I think Chuck Liebow got it working on PMacs with 16MB (still would love to know how he did that one--I wasn't quite smart enough).
