[K12OSN] SSH, X, W98, and putty

Hello!

I know there is a way to use ssh to tunnel X to a remote workstation and
run X apps on the server and display them on the remote terminal running
linux and ssh.

like this:

ssh -X -C user box name

and then just type the commandline for the application like:

xclock

Now, is there a way to do the same with putty from a windows98 computer?
I can ssh into the server with putty and tell it to forward X11 but I get
an error:

X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)

Will this even work?
