Well, it's all a matter of risk assessment, Jim. If you were completely
paranoid, you'd unplug the systems and go back to blackboard and chalk. All
we can do is advise the original poster that there is a probability of
vulnerabilities that will take some technical sophistication to exploit,
and that this is probably beyond the capabilities of 99% of elementary
school kids. From there on, it's up to him to weigh the benefits against
the risks, do the ALE calculations, etc.
