[K12OSN] Trouble with K12LTSP and HP Vectra VL420 Video

Hello, Folks -

I am trying to get 5 identical HP Vectra VL420's to work as Thin Clients on a K12LTSP 3.1.0 server. They are a little overkill, but I am just testing the idea of using LTSP on all of our internet stations, and I need to prove to my boss that this is the way to go.

All of them work great except one. They all have Rage 128 Pro GL AGP cards in them. The BIOS's on the video cards match, too.

The one that won't work will boot up just like the others until it's time for the video config. It blinks it's screen every few seconds when the X screen tries to start, and it finally stops with this message:

(WW) R128: No matching device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:0) Found
(EE) No devices detected
Fatal Server Error: No screens found.

/var/log/messages says this:

Jul 15 08:10:27 server dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:04:23:25:9e:d9 via eth0

Jul 15 08:11:25 ws004 init: Id "9" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

All of these machines are identical, same bios dates, same bios settings, same DIP switch settings. The machine in question works fine when it boots from it's local WinXP install.

Any Ideas?

Thanks -
