Stephen has done some fantastic work with the dansgaurdian add-on. It
can be configured with delay pools so that your bandwidth is not sucked
dry. It also has authentication built in . The e-smith (smeserver) is
extremely reliable and easy to setup . I have been running them for the
last 2 years without any problems. There is also an active community
around the product with tons of add-ons , have a look at contribs.org
