Re: [K12OSN] W2K and samba



Make sure you've added the machine to samba, its really easy if you use the
webmin module "samba machine maintainer". Very easy to use.

Then before trying to connect to the server, ensure that you have
disconnected any shares to the server, i.e. net use (drive letter) /d . dont
forget to disconnect \\servername\ipc$.

then log on using an account with enough writes. either a member of adm
group or root.
