Re: [K12OSN] Making the mouse work on K12LTSP?

Making Netware work with linux isnt impossible. A client should come out
now that Novell has bought ximian, imagine a network controlled by
Netware and with linux clients? *dreams* For them to not make a client
seems pretty strange since it is possible right now, Novell only needs
to sew it together.

There is an interim solution that works pretty well, namely ncpfs.
It has really only one catch. Shadow utils only allows clean names in
adduser and with ncpfs you need to specify in what container the user
resides in the bindery. For eg. container.user. Since new versions of
shadow utils doesnt support usernames with . in them you need to
downgrade to shadow utils prior to the version in RH9. The one from RH8
works like a charm and you can get it at rpmfind.net.

I have an excellent howto written by Mikael Göransson but i havent had
the time to translate it yet. The minute i have done that i will post it
here on the mailing list. Since the interest seems to exist ill get
right on it as soon as possible.
