Here's a list of things we're working on for 4.1:

  o  Better installer with versioning support
  o  Kernel installation via the ltsp_installer
  o  x11vnc support for remote controlling the user display
  o  Sound packages
  o  X over SSH
  o  Local device support for CD-ROM and Floppy
  o  Switch from XFree86 to Xorg X11R6.7
  o  bug fixes

We're hoping we get all of the above done for the release.

May 17th was picked arbitrarily.  By next week we'll have a better idea 
of exactly what will make it into the release, and if it will actually 
be May 17th.
