I just finishing a project exacltly doing that...

With a mount of NDS shares etc...

Download ncpfs-2.2.4 if you don't have it yet.

My pam line (currently) in gdm :

auth            sufficient      /lib/security/pam_ncp_auth.so -a -zAX -A
-n -d -l -L -u,,pn,gcds -g,,pn ndsserver=LTSPTEST:CC

Another good source :

I used the pam auth module from there
