[K12OSN] xdm's Chooser feature

As an alternative approach, you could run Xnest on your laptop and point it 
either at your desktop server or your K12LTSP server. Xnest allows you to run 
xdmcp queries of other servers, in a window, by using display :1 (your laptop's 
display is likely on :0). I do this on my laptop.  I setup an icon on the 
desktop that points at my ltsp server such that when I click on it, it brings up 
the login screen in a separate window.  I think you can also set it to run 
full-screen, but whenever I try that I have trouble getting back to display :0 
so I just use a window.  I use it mostly to run IE on top of Win4Lin, which is 
installed on my ltsp server; I can't justify buying a whole second copy to keep 
on my laptop, because I don't use very often, but this gives me easy access to 
it on those odd times when I need it.
