In an office environment with upto 30 concurrent users using OO &
Mozilla mainly the following setup copes:
P4-2.2ghz
2gb ram
onboard 1g NIC (although even 10m works)
2xscsi drives with software raid0 /home, /var & swap
1xide drive /, /tmp

Earlier I had tried with ide linux raid0 it barely works beyond 10~12
concurrent connections. ide SATAx2 linux raid0 was surprisingly better
but nothing near scsi.
