[K12OSN] user adding programs not working

addendum to last reply. . .
Funny thing. . . I have installed this same CD set on several other 
computers with no problems.  Just this one id the only one that is 
behaving badly. . . Could it be a problem with the multi-processors?

There was some discussion about multi-processors behaving badly. . .
