[K12OSN] user adding programs not working

OK, that is how I usually do it, too. . . I was just trying to keep from
increasing my stack of K12LTSP CDs which is getting pretty tall. . .
Thanks.
P.S. Anyone else on this list think I would have any problems upgrading
from FC1 to FC1 on a live system without breaking anything?
