[K12OSN] Updates

Hi Eric,

As much as I would like to contribute more info the problem is that 
up2date, yum & apt all just hang after being launched. I've checked with 
both a "ps -aux rhn.... apt & yum" & by top & the tasks are running. 
There have been no changes since I last ran then on my system & up2date 
"informs" me that there are 10 updates available.

Any suggestions ?
