[K12OSN] way OT - Lynx & Gopher story/fable

I know this is way OT -- But I think SOMEONE here should be able to
help.

I remember reading a story (more like a fable) that had a gopher
(representing the 'old' Gopher space) and a lynx (representing the 'new'
World Wide Web). It great the gopher once was, able to run around his
holes and find things, but then how the lynx was faster and did not have
to run through all the tunnels, etc. A quite little story that kind of
illustrated the passing of time and technology.

I have spent all day today (it is Sat. here, and I was off) trying to
find it again with google, looksmart, yahoo, etc. but without any luck.
Anyone out there have it or have a link to it -- At this point I would
be glad to hear if someone else also read it. No one here seems to know
what I am talking about.

Thanks for you time ---
Kevin
