dear all,

i tried to configure a client(node) for the X resolution in
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf file as 

[ws01]
	XSERVER              = vesa
        X_MODE_0             = 800x600
        LOCAL_APPS           = N
        USE_NFS_SWAP         = N
        SWAPFILE_SIZE        = 64m
        X_HORZSYNC           = 30-54    
        X_VERTREFRESH        = 50-120   
        X_COLOR_DEPTH	     = 24
	RUNLEVEL 	     = 5

it worked but the Icons/font where too big then i tried 

[ws01]

        X_MODE_0             = 1024x768
        LOCAL_APPS           = N
        USE_NFS_SWAP         = N
        SWAPFILE_SIZE        = 64m
        X_HORZSYNC           = 30-54    
        X_VERTREFRESH        = 50-120   
        X_COLOR_DEPTH	     = 24
        RUNLEVEL             = 5

but the node side is not accepting it i.e. i am still getting the same
big Icons/fonts.the monitor i have is of hp make, while in windows it
accepts 1024x768 very well and the icon size is pretty good(as i liked.)

further i would like to know that how can we set the "dpi" parameter i.e
dots/inches?

any help will be highly appreciated.
