[K12OSN] open office

For an upgrade install of open office, which is the way to go. Unistall 
the old version and install the new one as a local install in the 
/usr/local dir. Same as that one only use the Linux ./install file for a 
network install. Leave the old version in and upgrade it with the new 
version as a local install. Or upgrade to a network install over the 
existing install. I unistalled the old version and installed the new 
version as network. When I did that, the existing files lost thier 
asssociation with the old OO, but did not pickup on the new install. So 
when accessing from nautilus it errors out and says no available viewer. 
But if I open OO and choose file-open, it works fine. I know I need to 
re associate the files, but 1 at a time would take quite a while. Is 
there a way to do a mass association of the documents?
