Two possibilities one is  http://www.vcs.u52.k12.me.us/linux/Samba-LDAP.pdf

another is to simply make the K12ltsp box into the domain controller as
well and allow the Windows clients...which will be part of the domain to
access via Samba....ths they can access the Linux box that way.
