[K12OSN] Gigabit headach

So it does not work using the same cable and everything. In otherwords
JUST the switch is different? If so the cables should be fine and then
it has to be either the length or switch. I have a Gbit switch that
works with about 200ft cable but 270 is a good 33% more.

My 2 cents anyway...
