Krsnendu,

I used the method described in a Linux Magazine article (link below) for
creating a CD Jukebox, which includes automounting the images. It has
been over a year since I did so and haven't had to touch it since.
Therefore, my memory is a bit weak on details.

The CD Jukebox is based on the CD Server Howto on tldp. To permit
browsing with automount, you have to create a separate directory with
symlinks to the actual iso images, but otherwise it is quite
straightforward.

The CD Server works well for us, but then we are mostly accessing the
cdrom images from a Sunday School lab in our church using WinXP
clients. I have accessed them from our LTSP thin clients, but had to
resort to using Wine. We have not tried to access Shockwave programs on
CDROM.

For Shockwave content you will definitely need Crossover Plugin. We
have a small LTSP lab so I only had to buy 7 licenses. If you are
looking to outfit a large lab, Crossover Plugin could get pricey.

If you wish to learn more about our setup, I can provide details
offline.
