Yes, pgina is incredible, here's my setup:

*WindowsXP machine has no local accounts

*pgina replaces standard windows login screen

*pgina_pam linux daemon runs on linux server (easy to compile)

*pgina authenticates via the pgina_pam plugin

*account is created on the fly, base on the "Default User" profile on the
XP box

*you can mount drives automatically with pgina, and I have "My Documents"
pointed to "Z:" for my default user profile, so when z: is mounted with
pgina at login, the My Documents folder points to, well, their documents.

If it was any cooler, it'd be open source. Oh wait, it *is* open source. :)

It also supports Terminal Services now, so my "1 windows server to rule
them all" and having linux thin clients log into the windows machine for
sessions has worked well. (In fact, I can have a single application run
from the windows terminal server, and have it appear as if it's running as
a linux app... it's SO DARN COOL)

BTW, I cc'd this email to the list -- because I'm not sure everyone
realizes how great pgina is. Oh, one last thing, make sure you pronounce
it "p-geena", as the seemingly phonetic pronunciation raises eyebrows. ;)
