[K12OSN] DNS resolve

Hello,

i'm having a very strange resolve problem.
When starting up my server using the knoppix cd, i'm having my dns 
request resolved in about 1 second.

But when I do start up K12LTSP it sometimes takes about 20 second 
before I'm even gettinga response on eth1.

I'm using a RTL8139C catd as eth1
Eth0 uses the VIA chip (the fixed ip uses the builtin card very 
succesfull)

Can someone help me out, the academic year will start in a few days 
so....
