If you like KNOPPIX, why not a HD install of it. Even better, why not Kanotix? The Mercedes Benz version of KNOPPIX. Hardware detection is great, Debian based, apt, synaptic and klik updates and downloads. Nice, frendly, helpful people & forums. I've got it running on laptops, servers and desktops.
