Package mozilla-acroread needs acroread = 5.0.9, this is not available.

OK so now what?

RPM can tell you what package provides "mozilla-acroread":

rpm -q --provides mozilla-acroread

I just checked Adobe's web site and I see that there is a new version out (5.0.10). I'll see about packaging that...

Hi Eric,

Thanks but there doesn't seem to be anything for mozilla-acroread...

# rpm -q --provides mozilla-acroread
package mozilla-acroread is not installed

I also ran..
[root krypton 4.2beta]# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db.00*
[root krypton 4.2beta]# rm /var/cache/yum/*/header.info
rm: remove regular file `/var/cache/yum/k12ltsp/header.info'? y
rm: remove regular file `/var/cache/yum/macromedia/header.info'? y
rm: remove regular file `/var/cache/yum/updates-released/header.info'? y
but I still get the same error ??? package mozilla-acroread is not installed
