[K12OSN] Macintosh Client Question

how far did it get?ususally it says something about adb just before it
pivot roots...anyway..for the server..you have something like YDL-NFS-2.3.tar
put that in a folder called /opt/ltsp/ppc on the server..then tar -xvf
YDL-2.3.NFS.tasr.. should unpack the file system nfs mounts...check your
exports file which usually mentions /opt/ltsp/i386..change that to just
/opt/ltsp so the server allows read only mount of /opt/ltsp/ppc....leave
the option rootpath in dhcpd .conf slone as the kernel will translate the
path to /opt/ltsp/ppc..
there a couple errors in the /opt/ltsp/ppc... one is to rename the existing
XF86Config-4 so it is never used.. the other is a symbolic link

ln -s /tmp/XF86COnfig /opt/ltsp/ppc/etc/X11/XF86Config...

Then all you have to do is put XF86Config.5260 and XF86Config.6100 into
/opt/ltsp/ppc/etc as well as a sample lts.conf

>I am not 100% sure the kernel will work for you..and if video modes are
screwy there is a prog called fbset which when put with in /opt/ltsp/ppc
can be run to determine correct video modes.. chuck
