Here are some numbers taken from Sandra, CPU airthmetic benchmark

VIA C3 1GHz 64L2: ALU 1229 MIPS, FPU 352 MFLOPS.
Intel Celeron 600MHz 128L2: ALU 1620 MIPS, FPU 804 MFLOPS.

---------  supposed to be able to run it fanless ???  Not an overly 
impressive processor....but for $5  :)

Just thought I'd post it in case anyone wanted to try it out.......  or 
maybe we could have a rebatefest and 30 or 40 of us order them for one 
school ???  I'd donate $5  :)   Just a thought.
