You'll be pleasantly surprised.  Sun charges educational institutions 
$25 for the media kit, and the license for it is free (as in beer) for 
the entire school district.  This, BTW, is indeed for the full 
StarOffice; there is, fortunately, no "lite" version to be concerned 
about.  The only difference is the license and what Sun charges schools.
