Suggestions please?

Relevant Server Info: Novell(Administration + Staff Server) 10.1.3.2,
Linux Gateway/Router/DHCPD/Firewall(iptables)/Proxy
Server(squid)/Content Filter(dansguardian) 10.1.3.1, Debian mail
server(staff only(exim4, spamassassin, clamav, qpopper)) 10.1.3.30,
K12LTSP Server eth1(10.1.3.20) & eth0 (with dhcpd(default
192.168.0.254))....

Client Info: Macintosh Clients(14) 11 need to see the K12LTSP server
and 3 machines need to see mail server, the Novell server, and multiple
printers.
CS_LAB WindowsXP(22) needs to see K12LTSP server
Library(12) only need to see K12LTSP server
Staff Machines(30ish) need to see ALL servers
Thin Clients (40+) need to see K12LTSP and multiple printers in various
labs

Problems are: Some staff machines need to print to same printer as
k12ltsp clients...
All students will save work on K12ltsp server and authenticate to it
through Samba and LDAP (thanks for the OO tutorial =) no matter which
machine they log on from so they always have the same 'home directory'
no matter which machine type/lab they log in from.

Staff would authenticate to Novell for all their filesharing etc...but
would need to access the K12LTSP machine to check student files.

Current Plan: Map a drive on all staff machines (XP Pro and Mac OS X)
to the samba shares for access to student files.
Install Printers through CUPS on the K12LTSP server and share with Samba
to staff machines as well as LTSP clients.
Puts a heavy printing load on the K12LTSP server though in addition to
the load it will have from the 40+ clients...

Any suggestions and/or helpful hints...or kicks in the head welcome =)
Would subnetting be helpful? harmful? aught I set up specific routes for
specific things etc?

Thanks,
