[K12OSN] Thin client test

Steve,

The Capio One I received as a demo works nicely!
Not sure if it was the C1($200) or the Yestation(from affirmative.net
$400 but only 10-watts of power usage) that I had to change something in
the bios int19 or something to boot automagically from the nic.
I bought mine directly from Neoware and it came with a weak keyboard and
weak mouse.

I'm strongly considering the Yestations more and more because in roughly
4 years they pay for themselves strictly from energy savings compared to
a normal PC...and also mount to the side or back of a monitor =) the
Capio One I believe uses ~100 watts.

Has anyone used the Neoware Capio One thin clients from IBM? We've
ordered one for testing. The price for bulk buys (30-50) is fantastic
@ about $190. For more info go to : http://www.ibm.com/us/ and type
"capio one" in the search box. We're hoping to use these units in a
new charter school (sponsored by our school district). The school will
use only K12LTSP thin clients, desktops, and laptops. All software will
be FOSS. We're excited about the possibilities. Any thoughts you may
have would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve
