[K12OSN] Sound on the client: redux

OK, I give up. What's the secret to getting the sound to play out of the
clients sound card instead of the servers?
I've tried all the obvious [to me, natch] stuff in the lts.conf file, but
I'm not even sure all the libraries are there, etc.
I got the exact functionality that I wanted a few hacks ago, except that the
mp3 would blast out of the server instead of the client. Is there a
checklist of things to go through?

I'm gathering this only works with Gnome.
You need to specify some stuff in lts.conf
I've got SMODULE_01 = "es1370" in there. (Yes, I'm running an ensoniq 1370
in the PCI slot) Do I need all that IRQ interrupt, dma stuff? If so, how do
I find that out. Any kindof "hardware probe" action just tells me about the
server. And the bios is incredibly vague.

Any pointers would be incredibly appreciated.
