[K12OSN] odd question..

It sounds like you are trying to get multiple computers into a single rack
or rack enclosure. I don't know if you can get multiple systems into a
single case (aka blade server or what used to be called a consolidated
server). To do it "right" you will need to procure some rack mount cases,
then just move the guts. Be careful about the height of the cases, A 1- or
2-U case will require a riser if all of your IO is not integrated into the
mohterboard. If rack mount cases are not an option, some careful
engineering will probably allow you to hang or otherwise mount multiple
standard cases, desktop or tower, into a standard rack. Once mounted a KVM
switch is highly recommended. If you don't have a KVM switch you will spend
a fair amount of time swapping keyboard and video cables to the specific
server you are trying to access (mouse, too if you use GUI).

  Subject: [K12OSN] odd question..

  Hi,

I'd like to thank all those that provided so many links and thought on the
music issue, now I'll never get any sleep.. :-D

This may not be the right forum but I'll try anyway.. Does anyone know how
to rack-mount PC-motherboards ? i.e. take the motherboard from a standard
desktop computer and install it in a rack-mount cage.
The intent is to build a cluster of computers within one "cage".

Folks any suggestions or ideas are most welcomed.
