Hi Will,

I know there's a link somewhere ...but I can't find it. So, briefly, you need 
to edit the file /etc/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf. Look in that file for a line 
that reads:
#RCFILE_01		= floppyd
Remove the # from the front and reboot you ltsp client. Now you will have a 
floppy tool on each users desktop. Please note that this tool works like an 
ftp tool allowing users to copy files to and from  the floppy. They will not 
be able to open files directly from other programs.
