Hi Mark,

One other thing I found.

The drive I was using was an SLR. The particular drive was 20 / 40 GB.
There were two different types of tapes available in that capacity. The
supplier gave me the wrong type initially. 

The drive would not work!

This also applies to DAT tapes.

Be absolutely sure you have the correct tapes for your tape drive, other
wise mt will fault every time. Very cryptic messages are produced when
this happens!
