It looks like your only option to logging in to your linux server is 
setting up VNC Server on the linux box and then using the web browser on 
the windows machine to access the VNC interface.

Just use any java enabled web browser and enter the following URL:
http://yourlinuxserver:5800

Hopefully that will solve your problem. I prefer putty or VNC but in a 
pinch, this option will work just fine.
