I actually got it all figured out, I installed ALSA and MPG123 and it works
great now :-D

Since (I think) it's an RH box, I bet kudzu would detect the card.
Otherwise, I would suggest just following one of the many Sound howto's
online. The Linux Documentation Project (www.tldp.org) is a great
resource, I'm sure they'll have something relevant. Generally, if your
card is supported by ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound (?)Architecture) drivers
, I would suggest using that as it's usually "just better" than OSS
(Open Sound System), though that's not always the case.
