[K12OSN] Fedora Core 2 speedbump/showstopper

I just recently upgraded my fileserver to Fedora Core 2 (primarily for
ACL support) and discovered that using LVM snapshots is not supported at
all in FC2.  The partition became unavailable... a reboot couldn't find
anything on my volume group (other logical volumes included)... (I
almost thought I lost the partition... thank goodness for a recent
backup though).  I was finally able to recover it using redhat 9 rescue
disks (deleting the snapshot... then making the volume group available
again).
