RE: [K12OSN] Server Clone



Hi Jim,

If you do a partition to partition clone Ghost may work.

There are some things you need to do first.

1) Make sure your version of Ghost DOES recognise the ext3 filesystem.

2) Create the required  partitions on the new server. This should
include /boot, but nothing else.

3) Ghost the data from the old machine to the new machine using the
PARTITION TO PARTITION method.

This should work.
