[K12OSN] Samba xp desktop errors...

Hi Shawn,

How much free drive space does this machine have?

This sounds like a nearly full hard drive, and the OS is trying to
download a profile that is too large to fit on the hard drive and still
allow swap to work.

That's one of the pitfalls with roaming profiles.
Storing a lot of junk on the desktop makes the profile bloat out
rapidly.
Imagine a desktop with 500+MB of pictures stored in a folder, then
shuffle that across a network!

If possible I would suggest enforcing a mandatory policy that uses a
single profile.

Other things to check.
Was this machine GHOSTed from another machine?
Duplicate IP address, especially with another machine elsewhere on the
network. This usually causes other flakiness though.

Cheers,
Bert
