I have used phprojekt to run our business for a year now.  While nobody
likes to use the built in webmail ( I use evolution myself), the group
based calendaring, and project management features are excellent.  I
also find the document management to work well for our on-site
employees.  We have not mastered the timesheets, but that feature is
just what someone needs who bills by time.
